The ideas of the package came from discussions between Fadel M. Megahed and Tessa Chen, and the package builds on their joint work: - the adaptation of CLIP for few-shot image inspection in manufacturing quality control (Megahed et al., 2026); - the working paper of the project, Beyond CLIP (Megahed & Chen, 2026a); - the Python packages conformal-clip and conformal-clip-data (Megahed & Chen, 2025, 2026b). These discussions took place outside the Claude Code sessions. So the decisions of this record show fmm as the person who proposed most of them. Fadel M. Megahed is the maintainer of the package. He directed the work with Claude Code and made the decisions of the record. ## References Megahed, F. M., & Chen, Y.-J. (2025). *conformal-clip-data* (Version 0.1.4) [Data set].
